Development milestones:

  • Created and added sprites for player and enemy.
  • Created and added sprites for projectiles.
  • Created and added animation for drill and plasma projectiles.

Development breakdown:

I created  3 sprites to represent the players. A white skull mech that will be unused in the game, a blue skull for player 1 and a red skull for the AI or player 2. I also made an arm sprite to replace the rectangle sprite that was being used previously.

Image 3: Mech arm. Similar style to Getter 3 or Bender.

I also created a range of sprites for the weapons/projectiles used. These sprites have blue and red versions to indicate which player fired the shot. Of these sprites the robot fist was the hardest to make and I don't think I did the concept justice.

For the drill and plasma ball I created animation for them.

As there was no build for this development no player feedback was received.
